After she was fired from CBS, journalist Catherine Herridge had her files, computers and records, seized by security at CBS. This is an unprecedented move by a news organization. Most journalists, like Herridge, have privileged sources who would fear being exposed if the journalist files were compromised. After what happened to Herridge, confidential sources will be less willing to speak to journalists from CBS because of fear that their identity may be revealed. That is why journalist are willing to go to jail to protect their sources because they want those sources to have confidence that they will remain anonymous. SAG-AFTRA Union called this move by CBS, “a dangerous precedent for all media professionals and threatens the very foundation of the First Amendment.” But we don’t care about the First Amendment in America anymore. Free speech is no longer a priority. Protecting certain politicians has become the first priority.
Why would CBS take this unprecedented step when it obviously hurts their news agency’s credibility? The answer is almost predictable, Catherine Herridge was working on a story about Hunter Biden. She’s over the target so she must be fired and her files must be confiscated. This is not new. Leading up to the 2020 election, 50 current and former intelligence agents signed a letter stating that Hunter Biden’s laptop which contained numerous crimes committed by Hunter Biden and also exposed the corruption of Joe Biden, was Russian disinformation, so the contents would be suppressed in the media. They all publicly testified to that even though the FBI had already internally verified that the laptop was real. Why would these intelligence officers knowingly and publicly lie to America and destroy their own credibility to protect Hunter Biden?
On the surface, it would appear that there is not a person who the deep state politicians, intelligence agencies and media protect more than Hunter Biden. Why do these powerful entities all go to unprecedented lengths to protect this obvious criminal? They are not protecting Hunter Biden as much as they are protecting the deep state which in turn protects themselves because they are the deep state. If the corruption of Hunter and Joe Biden gets exposed, the entire deep state may get exposed. That’s how deep and intertwined their corruption is.
The FBI recently arrested longtime FBI informant, Alexander Smirnov, who came forward as a whistleblower and testified about Joe Biden $5 million bribery schemes from foreign countries. Smirnov was charged with “lying to the FBI”. Does anyone take the charge of “lying to the FBI” serious anymore? We all know that this charge is a way for the FBI to frame people that they do not like or they want to get. Isn’t that what they got General Michael Flynn on in 2017, lying to the FBI? Prior to his meeting with General Flynn, then-FBI Assistant Director for Counterintelligence, Bill Priestap wrote in his notes about the Flynn meeting, “What’s our goal? Truth/Admission or to get him to lie, so we can prosecute him or get him fired?” Reading those notes, it becomes obvious that it is within FBI protocol, as a normal tactic, to “get [people] to lie” in order to destroy them.
Like all crimes that the feds prosecute these days, they don’t care about lying to the FBI. Christopher Steele who produced a dossier filled with lies about Donald Trump that he passed onto the FBI that they used to get FISA warrants to illegally spy on Donald Trump was never charged with lying to the FBI when not only did he lie to the FBI but his lies were used by the bureau to deny a United States citizen of his Constitutional rights. And the FBI knew it was a lie all along because as it was recently revealed, the FBI had intelligence that Vladimir Putin and the Russians preferred Hillary Clinton to Donald Trump in the 2016 election, so Putin would not have colluded with Trump to steal the election, he wanted Hillary to win. And the FBI knew that back in 2016. Has anyone involved in all those lies been arrested for anything related to that? Of course not.
So, a person doing opposition research for the Clinton campaign lies to the FBI about Trump, it is proven a lie, and he is never arrested. A whistleblower gives damaging testimony about Joe Biden, FBI arrests him for lying. Is it just a coincidence that during the same week that this informant was arrested for lying to the FBI, Catherine Herridge’s notes and information regarding her investigation of Joe and Hunter Biden’s corruption were seized. Maybe there is evidence on Catherine Herridge’s computer that proved Alexander Smirnov wasn’t lying, maybe he was in fact telling the truth about the Bidens. The FBI has destroyed its credibility to such an extent that it is hard to believe anything the FBI tells us anymore?
Isn’t it hypocritical that a citizen can be arrested for lying to the FBI but FBI agents are not arrested for lying to citizens? If they were, the 50 intelligence officers who signed the Hunter Biden fraudulent laptop letter, would all be sitting in jail. Why aren’t public officials arrested for lying to the public? Every politician in America would be in jail. Donald Trump is fined $83 million for calling E. Jean Carroll a “liar” and “ugly”, but Joe Biden is not fined for calling the 74 million people who voted for Donald Trump “fascists”. Hillary Clinton is not fined a penny for calling Republican voters, “racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic” and a “basket of deplorables”.
Nothing that our intelligence agencies will tell us from now until the election will be true. None of it. Don’t believe a word. And after the election is over, the truth will come out as it always does, exposing lie after lie after lie, but they won’t care because they will have gotten their guy elected and there will be no ramifications for their lies. Have any of the intelligence agents who lied about the Hunter Biden’s laptop in 2020 been arrested or fired? Has any lost one second of sleep about their lost credibility, their lost honor, violating everything the bureau is supposed to stand for? Of course not, they all have their security clearances intact, and they are all poised to tell more and more lies to push Joe Biden over the finish line once again because corruption always protects corruption.
