Lies, Damn Lies and Political Speeches

Kamala Harris accepted the Democratic nomination for President at the DNC in Chicago on Thursday night, and her acceptance speech has been lauded as one of the greatest speeches of all time. It has been called “historic” and “patriotic” and “unifying”. When in reality, it was 37 minutes of straight lies. Aside from her name, almost everything else in the speech was an untruth.

She started out by claiming, “I grew up immersed in the ideals of the Civil Rights Movement.” Isn’t she the granddaughter of a slave owner? Hasn’t she benefitted from that generational wealth derived from slavery? Ironically, if we did pass the reparations legislation that the Democrats want, she would have to pay reparations to herself. And that sums up Kamala Harris’ political career and her entire life. She is one big contradiction.

Next, she claimed, “As a prosecutor, when I had a case, I charged it not in the name of the victim. But in the name of “The People.” For a simple reason. In our system of justice, a harm against any one of us is a harm against all of us.”

As Attorney General of California, she passed proposition 47 which she named, “The Safe Neighborhoods and Schools Act” which turned felonies – grand theft, commercial burglary, and possession of illegal drugs – into misdemeanors. The legislation transformed once great cities like Los Angeles, San Franciso and Oakland into hotbeds of crime, bastions of smash and grab robberies, streets lined with shuttered stores and merchandise under lock and key. The streets of those cities are now overflowing with drug addicts, homeless, narcotics needles and human feces. I guess that is what Kamala envisions as “safe neighborhoods”.

She also passed Proposition 57 which she sold as “The Early Parole for Non-Violent Criminals and Juvenile Court Trial Requirements Initiative” which helped us set the most violent criminals in California free, such as Gregory Gadlin who was in prison for brutally slashing his girlfriend with a butcher knife, and Alfredo Castillo who beat a rival gang member to death, and Luis Steven Flores who assaulted a police officer with a deadly weapon. These “non-violent” criminals seem to commit a lot of violent crimes. If “a harm against any one of us is a harm against all of us”, then why would she want to release criminals from prison early who committed the harm against one of us, which was a harm against all of us?

She stated that “with this election, our nation has a precious, fleeting opportunity to move past the bitterness, cynicism and divisive battles of the past.” Everything that Harris is about is inflaming the bitterness, cynicism and divisive battles of the past. She is a race baiter. She pits women against men. She enflames class warfare. She pushes the LGBTQ agenda on people who don’t want it. Hers is the politics of division, of bitterness, and of cynicism. She doesn’t want a color-blind society. She believes in intersectionality which judges people on race, gender and LGBTQ status which entrenches those divisions in society.

She claimed “to hold sacred America’s fundamental principles. From the rule of law. To free and fair elections. To the peaceful transfer of power.” Isn’t she the one who led the coup against Joe Biden who is really the duly elected nominee for President of the Democrat party. For her own selfish interests, she helped to cancel the votes of over 10 million United States citizens who voted in the Democratic primary for someone other than her. She claims to stand up for elections, but she is the only nominee of a major political party in American history who did not win an election.

She claimed that Donald Trump “sent an armed mob into the U.S. Capitol, where they assaulted law enforcement officers… consider his [Trump’s] explicit intent to set free the violent extremists who assaulted those law enforcement officers at the Capitol.”  Didn’t Kamala Harris help promote the BLM riots in 2020, and wasn’t it she who set up and ran the Freedom Fund in Minnesota, which set rioters who burned buildings and assaulted police officers in Minnesota free, so they could go back and continue to burn Minnesota cities to the ground? Wasn’t it her running mate the Governor who allowed Minnesota to be set on fire for four days without deploying law enforcement or the National Guard to protect lives or property?

She charged that Trump has an “explicit intent to jail journalists. Political opponents. Anyone he sees as the enemy.” Isn’t it the Democrat party who has been trying to throw Trump in jail for the last four years? Hasn’t her party actually thrown Trump associates like Peter Navarro and Steve Bannon into Federal prison? Didn’t Barack Obama’s DOJ throw Nakoula Basseley Nakoula in Federal Prison for posting an anti-Muslim video on-line? Hasn’t the Biden-Harris DOJ been throwing Pro-life activists in prison by the dozen for the last three years? They are the ones who throw journalists and political opponents in jail, not Trump.

She warned of “how he [Trump] would use the immense powers of the Presidency of the United States. Not to improve your life. Not to strengthen our national security.” How has Kamala Harris used the immense powers of the Vice Presidency to improve our lives? Our lives were much better under Donald Trump, then they are under the Biden-Harris administration. Our national security was much stronger and safer under Trump than under the Biden-Harris administration.

She said, “because we know a strong middle class has always been critical to America’s success. And building that middle class will be a defining goal of my presidency.” She opened the borders which allowed 10 million illegal immigrants into this country which has devastated our middle class; it has driven down wages, and also is led to over 100,000 American citizens to die every year of overdoses, most of whom are from middle-class families. She is aligned with the millionaires, billionaires, the elites and the oligarchs, all of whom have funded her campaign, against the middle class. The results of every one of the Biden-Harris policies from energy to taxation to spending to the border to crime shows that she despises the middle class.

She claimed that “the middle class is where I come from. My mother kept a strict budget. We lived within our means.” Yet the Biden-Harris administration has ballooned the national debt to $35 trillion adding close to $2 trillion just this year, and over $8 trillion in just under four years. She and the Democrats have no concept keeping a strict budget or living within their means.

She claimed that she was going to “lower the cost of everyday needs. Like health care, housing and groceries.” The inflation on healthcare, housing and groceries is at a 40 year high under the Biden-Harris administration due to their out-of-control spending and their attack on American energy. Inflation was at a decades-low under the Trump administration.

“He [Trump] doesn’t actually fight for the middle class. Instead, he fights for himself and his billionaire friends. He will give them another round of tax breaks that will add $5 trillion to the national debt.” In 2017, Donald Trump passed the Tax Cut and Jobs Act, which cut taxes in every income bracket across the board. It was the largest middle-class tax cut in the history of our country. Meanwhile, Kamala Harris wants to raise the capital gains tax from 15% to 44% which would be one of the biggest middle class tax hikes in history. Many retirees or people with investment accounts are in the middle class and benefit greatly from capital gains from their retirement accounts, so her capital gains tax increase is a direct and substantial tax on the middle class. The billionaires will find a way to sidestep these tax increases, and the middle class will end up footing the bill.

She said that “after decades in law enforcement, I know the importance of safety and security, especially at our border. Last year, Joe and I brought together Democrats and conservative Republicans to write the strongest border bill in decades.” After three years of being the Border Czar, in which she completely opened the border to 10 million illegal immigrants, MS-13 gang members, drug cartel members, criminal aliens, rapist, and murderers, who were let out of Venezuela’s prisons, she and Joe Biden put together a border bill that codified 5,000 unvetted illegal immigrants entering the country everyday which comes out to 1.8 million per year. 

She promised that it “is my pledge to you: As President, I will bring back the bipartisan border security bill that he killed. And I will sign it into law. I know we can live up to our proud heritage as a nation of immigrants — and reform our broken immigration system.” She took a sledgehammer to the immigration system in our country, and now pledges reform the broken immigration system that she intentionally broke. And this is what she intends to do with everything in the country – destroy it, so she can rebuild it the way she wants it. She said, “we can create an earned pathway to citizenship” for illegal aliens which is just a Democrat get out to vote initiative

“As Commander-in-Chief, I will ensure America always has the strongest, most lethal fighting force in the world.” Under the Biden-Harris administration, our military has put the Woke and LGBTQ agendas ahead of military readiness. She was the last one in the room when Joe Biden signed off on our disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal which caused the death of 13 of our servicemen and left $80 billion of the most advanced weaponry in the hands of our enemies. Russia, China, Iran, no longer fear the United States military because of the lack of leadership over the last 4 years.

She said, “I will make sure that we lead the world into the future on space and Artificial Intelligence. That America — not China — wins the competition for the 21st century. And that we strengthen — not abdicate — our global leadership.” The Biden-Harris administration have sold out to the Chinese time and again, and a Harris-Walz administration with their well-documented communist ties, will be completely willing to capitulate to China at their behest.

She said, “as President, I will stand strong with Ukraine and our NATO allies. With respect to the war in Gaza, President Biden and I are working around the clock. Because now is the time to get a hostage deal and ceasefire done.” Both of those wars are on her ledger. Russia invaded Ukraine under George W. Bush; they invaded under Barack Obama, and also under her and Joe Biden. He didn’t invade under Donald Trump. In the Middle East, Donald Trump had passed the Abraham Accords, which were five separate peace deals in the Middle East, and the Middle East was moving to the most peaceful it’s been in centuries. And after just 3 ½ years under Biden-Harris, it’s as violent as it’s ever been.

Everything that she promised that she’s going to do if she is President, she could have done for the last 3 ½  years and chose not to do. And everything that she didn’t do for the last 3 ½ years, she won’t do for the next four or, God forbid, eight years if she’s elected President. The entire speech was one long series of lie after lie after lie after lie. That is what the entire Biden-Harris administration has been for the last 3 ½ years, and that’s what Kamala Harris has been for her entire adult life – lie after lie after lie after lie. Nothing, and I mean absolutely nothing, that she said she was going to do during that speech, she will do if she’s elected President. Nothing. She is dangerous because she is able to lie this big and this often without a thought, without a conscience. She is pathological, and she is grasping to become the most powerful person on the planet. And that should scare every single one of us.
