The Handmaid’s Dystopian Nightmare

Ever since the election of Donald Trump as President, every few months, groups of primarily white liberal women show up in cities like Washington, DC, Philadelphia, New York, and Austin, Texas wearing long red dresses, red cloaks, and white "wing" bonnets protesting our President, holding signs bearing phrases like “Destroy the Patriarchy”, "Keep Your Laws Off My Body", “The Future is Female”. We are being warned by these women that Donald Trump wants to usher in the dystopian “Handmaid’s Tale”, a reference to the 1985 Margaret Atwood novel in which women were treated like property, baby making machines, second class citizens, and ultimately slaves to the men who run society.

Ironically on Tuesday, over 80% of young liberal white women – the ones who usually scream at us about the fighting the patriarchy and warning about the Handmaid’s Tale – voted for Zohran Mamdani to be the Mayor of New York City. Although he claims to be a “democratic socialist”, at heart, he is an Islamist. He wants to impose Sharia Law on the City and eventually, the United States. When questioned about Sharia Law, Mamdani never denounces it. He was also financially supported by many Islamic groups, whose end goal is replacing the United States Constitution with Sharia.

So, the white liberal women who were cheering the assassination of Charlie Kirk because they believed that his Christian rhetoric was so patriarchal that it was a necessary good that he was murdered,  are the same people who are cheering the election of a man who wants to institute Sharia Law – a system of government that would create a patriarchy of which has never been experienced in the history of the United States. Sharia Law means that women have to wear a burqa at all times. They cannot show their faces; they cannot show any skin. It does not matter how hot it is, their bodies have to be completely covered. That’s what he wants to implement.

The burqa is the mildest of the dystopian rules of Sharia Law. Under Sharia, if a married woman is raped, she is punished for adultery which carries a penalty of stoning to death. A woman’s testimony is only considered worth half that of a man. Men get to have four wives, but a woman can only have one polygamous husband. Men are allowed by law to beat their “disobedient” wives. Girls as young as 8 years old are forced into arranged marriages. Women are allowed to be killed by their husbands or fathers if they disgrace Islam or act “too Western”. Female genital mutilation is a common practice in many countries that are ruled by Sharia. Women are not allowed to drive, women are not allowed to go to school, women are not allowed to be educated, women are not allowed to hold jobs. This is what they voted for New York City; this is what over 80% of young liberal women in New York voted for. Sharia Law is the codification of the Handmaid’s Tale.

All of this is coming to the United States of America if we continue to elect people like Zohran Mamdani and continue to allow millions and millions of Middle Eastern Immigrants into this country. This is what’s coming. The worst patriarchy that you could ever imagine on steroids. That’s what will be implemented into the United States if the Islamists are allowed to take over. I don’t want to hear another liberal woman ever lecture me about the patriarchy ever again. Never. You’re done. You just overwhelmingly voted for the most extreme patriarchy that has ever existed in human history. Will Zohran Mamdani implement all of this in his first term as mayor? Of course not. His election is the first step down that road. Islam plays the long game. The West plays the short game.

So those young women who voted for Mamdani may never live under Sharia Law, but their daughters may, and their granddaughters most definitely will. This is the 100-year plan of Islam. This is what they do. They are not going to conquer the West in one generation; they’re merely going to out-populate the West in western countries until the West becomes the Middle East. What’s wrong with that? These Muslims are still living in the 14th century. They believe in a Theocracy. Every value that they possess is opposite of the Western values that we hold dear. That’s what’s wrong with it. It’s not about race; it’s all about values, beliefs and principles. The United States of America and the West are currently committing cultural suicide. In the end, there are two types of Muslims: there are the terrorist, and the terrorist sympathizer. And they are both equally bad because the terrorist sympathizer enables the terrorist. The fact that there has been no backlash or protest against the election of Mamdani by the feminist groups proves once again how fraudulent the modern feminist movement actually is.

Mamdani got elected because he promised to give a lot of people free stuff. His voters overlooked the threat of Islam and focused on the free stuff. The feminists who voted for him will claim that Mamdani is not an Islamist, that he’s a socialist and a communist. Even if that is true, the feminists are supposed to be against the patriarchy, but in a communist system, the state takes the place of the patriarchy. The state becomes your sugar daddy. The state provides free stuff so it can tell you what you can do and what you can’t do. Women who are truly against the patriarchy are for freedom, autonomy, and self-determination which communism and socialism strips from all of us.

So, in the end, it appears that feminists don’t necessarily want freedom and self-determination like they continually screech about. Those things require responsibility; they require doing and getting things for yourself, not the government giving you everything that you want. Adults in the real world have to earn their way. And if they’re not earning their way, if things are being handed to them like Mamdani has promised, the people are sacrificing something more valuable than what they receive – their freedom, their autonomy, their self-determination. These so-called feminists would rather be slaves to an impersonal government than rely on a loving husband in a marriage. They are so blinded by their own virtue that they cannot distinguish between the good and the evil. They just proudly voted to have their granddaughters stoned to death if they are ever victims of rape. Your body, their choice. Good decision. Good decision.
