Jesus was crucified. Gandhi and Martin Luther King Jr, were assassinated. Yesterday, Donald Trump was arrested.
Don’t get me wrong. By no means am I saying that Donald Trump is Jesus. But Jesus and Donald Trump are fighting the same enemy, and that enemy is evil. There is evil in the world. There is evil in the United States of America. We see evil rear its ugly head every day of our lives in this country. We saw the manifestation of that evil in Nashville last week. We see that evil in the 300 young Americans who die every day from drug overdoses because Joe Biden opened our southern border. We see that evil every time a radical DA like Alvin Bragg downgrades a violent felony into a misdemeanor and allows a criminal back on the streets to rape and kill again. We see that evil in the sexualization of our children in our public-school classrooms. We see that evil all over Tik-Tok and the other social media websites that are poisoning the minds of our children. We see that evil in the endless and fruitless wars that our leaders invariably ensnare us to appease and enrich the military industrial complex. The Democrats embrace evil. They want that evil in this country. They need that evil to create the destruction needed to usurp power over the rest of us.
Yesterday, we did not just witness an indictment of a former president, it is an indictment on our system, our country, and every law-abiding citizen in America. The prosecutors in the case, asked the judge to hold the trial of Trump until January 2024, which would be right in the middle the Republican presidential primary season. Why would they ask to hold it that long? To influence the election, of course. Everything that Alvin Bragg is doing right now is 100 times more impactful on the 2024 election than anything that even the most strident Democrats accused Vladimir Putin of doing in 2016, and Bragg will get away with it.
One of the biggest accusations Jesus made against the religious leaders who sought to destroy him was hypocrisy. Jesus said, “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of greed and self-indulgence… You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of dead men's bones and everything unclean.”(Matthew 23:25-27) That is what the Democrats are. They look the right way and say all the right things on the outside, but inside they are filled with “greed and self-indulgence” and “everything unclean”.
There was no fuller display of hypocrisy than Alvin Bragg yesterday proclaiming that “no one is above the law”. The DA who has been letting violent criminals off with a slap on the wrist to go out a rape and murder again, claims that, “no one is above the law.” Is that a joke? And the Democrats and left-wing media have been repeating his statement in unison for the last 24 hours. That is what the devil does. The devil doesn’t lie. The devil perverts the truth. We all believe that no one should be above the law. But the Democrats don’t believe that. They believe that none of their enemies should be above the law, but they themselves are so special that they should be above the law. Hillary Clinton is above the law. Bill Clinton is above the law. Joe Biden is above the law. Hunter Biden is above the law. Nancy Pelosi is above the law. James Comey, John Brennan, and James Clapper are all above the law. Every single one of them have committed crimes that are much worse than what Donald Trump was falsely indicted for yesterday. Even Barack Obama is above the law. Didn’t he use the FBI to spy on the opposition campaign? And isn’t that what got Richard Nixon thrown out of office? No Republican is above the law, but there is a slew of Democrats who are so far above the law, they live in the stratosphere.
Jesus said, “If the world hates you, remember that it hated me first.”(John 15:18)
President Trump said, “they are not after me, they are after you. I’m just in the way… They only attack me, because I fight for you.”
Jesus was arrested on false, trumped-up charges. He could have saved himself, by denouncing himself, by rejecting his role as our savoir. He chose to be crucified for our salvation. Donald Trump was arrested on false, trumped-up charges. He could make this all go away by announcing that he was dropping out of the presidential race. He could save himself by no longer fighting for you and me.
When Jesus was condemned to death, his accusers chose to allow a murderer, Barabbas, to go free. The prosecutor, Alvin Bragg, who arrested and indicted Donald Trump, has been allowing murderers and rapists off on misdemeanor charges since he took office. Not only do these people convict the innocent, they set the guilty free.
In the controversial novel, “The Last Temptation of Christ”, the author, Nikos Kazantzakis, explores the life Jesus would have lived if he had listened to those who mocked him as he was dying on the cross, saying, “save yourself and come down from the cross.”(Mark 15:30) Obviously, Jesus chose to stay on the cross and die for our salvation.
Think about the life Donald Trump was living before he decided to run for President. He was a multi-billionaire, living in the lap of luxury, well liked, a famous celebrity. He could easily go back to that life, if he simply announced that he was no longer running for President, no longer fighting for America and the average American citizens. All charges would be dropped the next day. But he chooses to continue to put himself out there, to continue to fight for us against the evil that is the Neo-Con, Globalist, New World Order who wants unending wars, who wants to put America last, who wants to strip each of us of our basic Constitutional and human rights.
For those who believe that Donald Trump should just step away and allow someone else to get the nomination to run against Biden in 2024, understand, the moment that happens, the new front runner will face the same onslaught of unending attacks as Trump. Does anyone think someone like Asa Hutchinson has the backbone, has the intestinal fortitude to stand up to that level of attack? Within a day, he would be in the corner of his office, in a fetal position, sucking his thumb, or he would make nice and compromise with his attackers, and sell America and Americans out to the Neo-Con, Globalist, New World Order.
Anybody who is going to challenge the swamp, challenge the Globalist, New World Order will suffer the exact same level of attacks that Donald Trump has suffered. Ron DeSantis is as clean as clean can be, but if he threatens the New World Order, they will manufacture five crimes against him, and put him through the same gauntlet of false accusations and fraudulent investigations that Trump went through. Whoever the nominee is, if the Globalists are not attacking him, it means that they know he will be complicit with their agenda or is so weak that he will easily be rolled. Either way, their Neo-Con, Globalist, New World Order will be implemented, and evil will reign supreme.
Jesus was perfect. Donald Trump, the man, is the furthest thing from perfect. But Jesus chose the sinners, the imperfect, to walk with him, to fight with him, to help him defeat the evil in the world. I do not worship or adore Donald Trump the man. In fact, he has lived most of his life exactly opposite of how I have chosen to live mine. But I cannot help but admire his strength, his resiliency, his willingness to continue to fight for you and me when he has so much to lose, and so very little to gain. Jesus said, “There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”(John 13:15) And that is what Donald Trump is doing for all of us. So, I feel compelled to say, thank you President Trump.
