The Smell of Napalm

In the classic movie, Apocalypse Now, Lt. Colonel Bill Kilgore, played by Robert Duvall, looked out over a Vietnamese village that US military planes just bombed into oblivion and remarked, “I love the smell of napalm in the morning.” That iconic line was used to show how depraved some members of our military had become in Vietnam and how absurd the war actually was. I thought about that line when I heard what Minnesota Governor and Democrat Vice President nominee, Tim Walz’s wife, Gwen said about the 2020 BLM riots in Minneapolis – “I could smell the burning tires. That was a very real thing, and I kept the windows open as long as I could because I felt like that was such a touchstone of what was happening.” She kept her windows open to smell the burning tires because the riots were a touchstone moment to her.

People were killed and houses were burned to the ground in the village that those US planes napalmed in Vietnam. Colonel Kilgore loved the smell of napalm not for its pleasant aroma, but for what it stood for – death and destruction. People were killed, buildings were burned to the ground, livelihoods were lost during the BLM riots in Minneapolis, and Gwen Walz kept her windows open to imbibe the smell of burning tires, not because she enjoyed that odor, but because she liked what the smell of those burning tires represented – death and destruction.

She will claim that the “touchstone moment” was the fight against systemic racism in America, but she failed to realize that the overwhelming majority of the people who were killed and those who lost their businesses and livelihoods in those riots were minorities. So, her touchstone moment in the fight against systemic racism in America destroyed minority communities and killed minorities. Burning down the business of a first-generation Vietnamese immigrant in Minneapolis, does not make a statement against systemic racism in America. It’s just plain cruel.

Her husband, the governor of Minnesota, did absolutely nothing to stop the rioters were setting major parts of Minneapolis ablaze. He told the police and the National Guard to stand down and not intervene with these destructive riots. The Walz’s daughter even coordinated with the rioters to let them know that the National Guard would not be activated, so they could continue their reign of terror throughout Minneapolis. And alongside all of that, Vice President Kamala Harris, set up a bail fund, which bailed out many of the BLM rioters in Minnesota allowing them to go right back to set more buildings on fire. All three wanted as much death and destruction as possible.

They didn’t care about the minorities or anybody living in Minneapolis who were harmed. They only cared about power, and those riots were a means to power. Marxists and authoritarians do not care who they destroy or who gets destroyed in their pursuit for ultimate power. The smell of those burning tires, was the smell of power to Gwen Walz. She loved the fact that our country was burning in the lead up after the 2020 election because that meant that the incumbent President, Donald Trump would be less likely to win re-election if the country that he was presiding over was on fire. Those riots and those burning tires meant more and more power for her and her husband. It is absolutely sickening.

This tells you how these people see themselves, the way they see you, and the way they view power in America. These people aided and abetted the violence and destruction in Minneapolis, but then a few months later, when one riot broke out at the US Capitol, they were absolutely shocked. They even compared the Capitol riot on January 6 to the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941. Consider their warped perspective. Hundreds of riots which destroy the livelihoods of average every day citizens should be encouraged, but one riot at the US Capitol is considered one of the worst things that could ever happen in the United States. That reveals their mindset. They value Washington DC infinitely more than they value you and I. They will do everything in their power to protect the seat of power in this country but will do absolutely nothing to protect us.

These people reveled in the BLM riots because they were not a threat to their power. In fact, to them, the BLM riots were a good thing, because the riots continued to tear the fabric of American society, and the weaker and weaker the American citizens become, the more powerful the government must become. And that’s why they’re so afraid of Donald Trump, not because Trump’s a fascist, which he is it not, and not because he’s a threat to democracy, which he is not, they are terrified of Donald Trump, because Donald Trump will do in the next four years what he did in his first term – strengthen America by strengthening the individual American. The stronger the American citizens are, the less power the government has.

That’s one of the reasons why the far left is bringing millions and millions of uneducated unskilled illegal immigrants into America and trying to make them citizens, that weakens America. That’s why they’re against school choice because they want as many kids as possible in our failing public schools because that weakens the individual and empowers the government even more. That’s why they are set on destroying the fossil fuel industry. They don’t want America to be energy independent; they don’t want America supplying the world with oil; they don’t want citizens benefitting from low energy prices; they don’t want individual Americans strengthened and empowered; they need them weak and compliant.

That’s the Democrats point of view. They are going to protect the seat of their power at all cost. Washington DC is hallowed ground to them because it is the source of their power. Chicago, New York, LA, Minneapolis, Dallas, mean absolutely nothing to them, those are the places and those are the people who they want to exert their power over. So, the more those cities and those people are beaten down, the more power these people will be able to exert over them.

Our whole system has been upended. When our system was first set up, it was a government by consent of the governed. That no longer exist. The powerful decides who is in power. We no longer decide who are leaders are. We just saw that in the Democrat party. Over 10 million Democrat voters voted for Joe Biden to be the Democrat party’s nominee for President in 2024. He won that election 99% to 1%. It was as overwhelming a victory as you could get in an election. And then the power brokers in the Democratic Party, didn’t like who the people selected, so they threaten Joe Biden with the 25th amendment so he would drop out of the race and they could insert the candidate that they preferred. They hate democracy because democracy empowers the people.

We don’t have a say over who our leaders are. Far left-wing social media oligarch, Mark Zuckerberg, once again is giving hundreds of millions of dollars to run the elections in the battleground states. And for some reason, that is allowed to happen. On what planet is that fair and free of bias? Imagine the Dallas Cowboys are playing the Buffalo Bills in the Super Bowl this year, and we find out that prior to the game, Jerry Jones gave $1 million to each one of the referees who were going to officiate the game, do you think that the game will be called fairly? So, when Mark Zuckerberg donates hundreds of millions of dollars to run the elections which are supposed to be fair and unbiased, in battleground states, there’s a good chance that those elections will be tilted to the advantage of the Democrat party because that’s who’s paying to run the elections.

In the 2020 election, every state that Mark Zuckerberg funded with his Zuckbucks went for Joe Biden and the Democratic Party. And they were all battleground states which meant they could have gone either way, and every single one went for Joe Biden. These people who have all the power in our country don’t really care about us, our opinions or who we want to be our leaders? They care about their power, they care about protecting their power, that’s why they build walls around the Capitol, tear down walls around our border. Waltz said while Donald Trump was building a border wall, that he wanted to build ladders for illegal immigrants to climb over the border wall. Remember, hundreds of Americans have been murdered by illegal immigrants that Kamala Harris let into this country through the open border under her watch as the Border Czar. Do you think Walz cares about protecting American sovereignty? Of course not. Imagine if JD Vance had said, ‘I want to build ladders so the MAGA protesters can climb over the wall the Capitol’. He would be in jail right now.

These people are evil. They are so evil that they cannot recognize how truly evil they are, and that’s why on occasion they let slip how evil they are. That is why Gwen Walz can so easily say that she enjoyed the smell of burning tires from a riot which was destroying her city, killing citizens, and burning businesses to the ground. She is evil, but she is just the tip of the iceberg of the depravity of the Democrat party. These are sick and twisted people who only crave power, and they clothe their naked desire for power in a moral superiority, which is the belied in everything that they do and everything that they believe in because there is absolutely no moral superiority in a naked pursuit of unbridled power.
