Standing Up

The visual could not have been clearer last night. Every politician at the State of the Union address showed their true colors, showed their true intentions for the United States of America. President Trump did a masterful job in showing the country what the Democrats stand for. When he asked the politicians in the chamber to stand if they agreed that “the first duty of the American government is to protect American citizens, not illegal aliens." Everyone on the right side of the chamber stood and everyone on the left side of the chamber remained seated. The Democrats made the statement that they do not believe it is their duty as elected officials to protect American citizens. It became crystal clear. There is no more guess work, no more speculation. The Republicans are for America and Americans, and the Democrats are against America and Americans. We saw what each side stood for by what they actually stood for.

The Democrats stood for nothing last night. When Trump touted the most secure border in the last 40 years, the Democrats remain seated. When he said fentanyl deaths have been cut in half and the murder rate is at 125 year low, the Democrats remain seated. When he said that inflation has been reduced under 1.7%, mortgage rates are down, and gas prices are down, the Democrats remain seated. When the President touted job growth and economic growth, the Democrats remain seated. They didn’t stand for war heroes; they didn’t stand for the guy who saved 164 little girls from a flood; they didn’t even stand for lower prescription drug prices. And they definitely refused to stand for making our elections more secure.

By standing for nothing, the Democrats showed what they actually stand for. Criminal aliens walking our streets, violent crime, rape, murder, drug overdoses, high inflation, low wages, high rent, high prescription drug prices, fraudulent elections. To be fair, the Democrats do not stand for these things specifically, but they stand for the policies which bring us all of these things. They stand for open borders and mass unfettered, unvetted illegal immigration, and when we have that, we have more violent crime, more rape, more murder, more drug overdoses, higher inflation, lower wages, higher rent, higher prescription drug prices, and fraudulent elections.

In his Spanish-speaking response to the State of the Union, Senator Alex Padilla made that last point clear. The Democrats not only want fraudulent elections; they need fraudulent elections. Padilla claimed that Donald Trump was using ICE to “steal the midterm elections”. It is true that what ICE is doing by deporting hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens, will greatly affect the midterms but not in the way that he claims. ICE is being used to ensure that elections are fairer, and that fewer non-citizens will be voting in this year’s mid-term elections which means more Republicans will get elected because there will be less voter fraud and less non-citizen voting. In reality, ICE is preventing the Democrats from using illegal aliens to steal the election. And that is at the heart of the Democrats disagreement with everything that Trump is doing.

We all know the game plan of the Democrats. Joe Biden put that on full display during his presidency. Flood the country with illegal aliens and move them into blue sanctuary cities. Have them counted in the census so the Democrats will have more representatives in the House. Stop the requirement for voter ID, institute universal mail-in ballots, have hundreds of thousands if not millions of illegal immigrants vote in elections which end up electing more Democrats to the House, more Democrats to the Senate and give the Democrats a greater chance of winning the Presidential election. Those are the policies that the Democrats use to get elected.

Every one of the successes that Donald Trump brought up last night in his State of the Union address would interrupt that plan, and that’s why the Democrats refused to stand for any of it. They don’t want a secure election because they need to cheat in elections to win. They don’t want a secure border and remove illegal immigrants from the country because they need those people in our country to vote in our elections in order to win.

There are other ways of winning elections in the United States other than cheating by bringing in massive illegal immigrants to change the electorate. How about putting together a party platform that actually works for the American people – a platform that the American citizens would actually vote for. The Democrats don’t do that because what they want to do to America the vast majority of American citizens would never vote for. The bottom line is, the Democrats hate America; they believe that America is built on stolen land; they believe that the founding of our country was fraudulent; they believe inherently America is racist, and their goal is to destroy America and rebuild it into some sort of Marxian DEI utopia. But if they ran on that platform, the vast majority of Americans would never vote for them, so they have to cheat, and they have to change the electorate in order to get elected.

This is why they hate Donald Trump so much. He stands for making America great, while they stand for destroying America. And that dichotomy could not have been any clearer last night. Donald Trump put on display American greatness from gold medal winners to Congressional Medal of Honor recipients to Purple Heart recipients to war heroes to civilian heroes to survivors of floods and car crashes, and the Democrats refused to stand and honor these people’s courage and perseverance and strength because they refuse to honor American greatness.
