Taking the Fifth

Dr. Anthony Fauci was on Capitol Hill yesterday not answering questions from Senators about his role in misleading the public during the Covid pandemic. He pleaded the 5^th Amendment 111 times during the Senate’s Covid oversight hearings, even though he had been given blanket immunity by Joe Biden on his way out of the White House. Fauci did not need Fifth Amendment protection because he could not “be a witness against himself”; he could not self-incriminate. Joe Biden gave that protection to him, yet he still refused to answer questions. Even though, he cannot be convicted criminally, he knows if he answered those questions yesterday, he would have been convicted in the court of public opinion. The more Fauci declined to answer questions and the less transparent he was, the more obvious it became that almost everything that we were told about Covid by our government, by the doctors who were leading the CDC, were lies. 

We were told that the virus originated from a pangolin in a wet market in Wuhan, China and not leak from the Wuhan lab that was doing gain-of-function research on bat viruses. We were told that the government didn’t fund gain-of-function research when it has been proven that it did. We are told that locking the country down and preventing kids from going to school and playing sports would stop the spread of the virus, which it didn’t. We were told that masks prevented the spread of the virus which they didn’t. We were told that we had to remain 6 feet apart, which was a completely arbitrary made-up restriction. We were prevented from seeing our loved ones over holidays or as they were dying in nursing homes. We were told that Ivermectin and Hydroxy-chloroquine were dangerous and ineffective drugs when research has shown that they were not only safe but effective against Covid. We were told that the vaccines were safe and effective when they were really experimental drugs rushed to the market in order to make the pharmaceutical companies hundreds of billions of dollars. Dr. Fauci took the Fifth on every single one of these lies that came from him or the department that he ran.

Many of us eventually figured out that we were being lied to when they started telling us nonsensical things such as, the vaccine isn’t meant to protect you, it’s meant to protect your neighbors. Or when we saw our friends and neighbors fired from their jobs because they refused to take the experimental vaccines, but at the same time, our government allowed 15 million unvaccinated foreigners to walk through our open borders into our country. Or when we were locked down in our homes, watching on TV freedom loving Americans being arrested for protesting the lockdowns, while the BLM protesters and rioters were allowed to protest and riot by the thousands whenever and wherever they wanted.

When people started figuring out that they were being lied to by their government, and that their lives had been unnecessarily turned upside down, they started speaking out, exposing the lies, and the liars and those who helped perpetuate their lies, started calling those who told the truth names such as, “conspiracy theorists”, “right wing wackos”, “science deniers”, “anti-science”. They tried to silence them. They tried to cancel them. They tried to get them fired from their jobs. They de-platformed them on social media. They tried to make them societal pariahs as punishment for going against the official government narrative.

We must recognize this pattern. Whether we’re talking about Covid, election fraud, the effects of unfettered mass immigration, the infiltration of communism into our government, the infiltration of Muslims across all aspects of our society in order to take over the country, whatever the issue may be, we can determine who is telling the truth and who is lying, by seeing which side is being called names, is being silenced, de-platformed, canceled. If they don’t let you speak, if they try to bully you into silence, you are telling the truth, you are on the right side of the issue.

When you are over the target of truth, the name calling begins, the attempts to silence being, the cancelling and de-platforming begin. If you speak out against election fraud, they will call you an “election denier” or “anti-democracy”. If you speak out against transing minors or drag queens in kindergarten classrooms, they will call you “trans-phobic” or “homo-phobic”. If you speak out against Somalis stealing $9 billion of taxpayer’s money in Minnesota, they will call you a “racist”. If you post stories about criminal aliens raping and murdering American citizens, they will call you “anti-immigrant”. If you warn against the dangers of Islamists implementing Sharia law in America, they will call you “Islamophobic”. If you have been called any of these names, you are on the right side of these issues.

The only way to cut through the lies is to continue to tell the truth. When WNBA star, Sophie Cunningham spoke out against males being allowed to play in female sports, she was attacked and called “transphobic” and “hateful”, but when she was asked about her comments on that issue, she simply replied, “I said what I said.” She spoke the truth and did not back down from the truth. She refused to be bullied into telling lies. Seattle Storm owner Celeste Keaton confronted and bullied two young girls who were wearing t-shirts and holding signs supporting Cunningham, calling the two minors, “f-cking insane”. Another example of liars trying to silence the truth.

It’s telling, when Senate Democrats question Republicans like Secretary of State Marco Rubio or Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent on Capitol Hill, Rubio and Bessent fight hard to answer their questions but the Democrats cut them off and shut them down, only allowing their loaded biased question to be put into the Senate record. Meanwhile, the Republican Senators gave Fauci complete latitude to answer all of their questions, and he refused to speak. The truth always comes out in the end. That’s what was most revealing in Dr. Fauci’s hearings in the Senate yesterday. His silence allowed the truth to be revealed for all to see. His silence exposed his lies. And all those people who were called all those names, who were silenced, de-platformed, cancelled, and fired, have been vindicated, and the liars were exposed. The liars will always try to silence the truth tellers, but the liars will always plead the Fifth when they have to tell the truth.
