Weird is weird again. After years of the left telling us that weird was normal, weird is suddenly allowed to be weird again. Except the new weird is the old normal. What is weird is that the people who are now calling others “weird” had been telling us for years that it is wrong to call people non-inclusive language like the word “weird”. “Weird” was judgmental; “weird” was exclusionary; “weird” was diminishing; “weird” was de-humanizing, but now, almost as if by magic, calling someone “weird” is okay, it is in vogue on the left. Turn on any liberal media outlet, and you will hear the word “weird” over and over again. They all are repeating the word like puppets.
So, who is it that they are calling “weird”? The left-wing media has gotten together and are calling JD Vance “weird” in unison. I guess in their world, it is weird to show great strength and courage to overcome being born into a community filled with poverty and drugs, like JD Vance did. What they believe the normal response to being handed that lot in life is to play the victim, make bad decisions, blame everyone else, and expect the government to provide everything that you need. To them, it is weird to join the Marines, serve our country, and to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States like Vance did. That’s weird. They believe the normal thing to do is to burn the American flag, kneel for the national anthem, disrespect our soldiers and sell out our country to our fiercest enemies. That’s normal to the left.
What’s weird to them is graduating from Ohio State University summa cum laude, and then graduating from Yale University law school, while also being an editor of The Yale Law Journal. I guess that is weird to them because the current Democrat President, Joe Biden, almost got thrown out of law school for plagiarism. So, someone who actually does his own work in school must be a weirdo. The normal people cheat in school. It must be very weird for people on the left to see someone like JD Vance who actually has worked extremely hard to overcome almost impossible life circumstances and earn everything that he has gotten. Actually living the American dream is weird to the left that is why they are hellbent on destroying the American dream. Instead of the American dream, the left believes that everyone should live in a Marxian nightmare.
But are we to take the cues of what is weird and what is normal from a group of people who support drag queen story hour for preschoolers, who believe that children should be taught radical gender theory, who put pornographic books into elementary school libraries, who tell teachers to transition children behind the child’s parents backs, who support voluntary castration and mastectomies for adolescents, who thought the Paris Olympics opening ceremony of drag queens mocking Jesus was “spectacular”? Are those the people who are determining what is weird and what is normal? The people who appointed Rachel Levine to the Assistance Secretary of Health for the United States of America, and named Sam Brinton, a Department of Energy official? They are the arbitrators of what is normal and what is weird. To them, cackling Kamala Harris and her unending word salads is not weird, Joe Biden sniffing every little girl he comes into contact with is not weird. Only JD Vance, the strait-laced, former Marine, Yale law graduate, US Senator, husband and father is weird. When the weirdos call you weird, it should be taken as a gigantic compliment.
What’s really weird are the politicians who take in $7 trillion dollars of tax revenue every year, misspend $6.5 trillion of it, and then call you greedy if you ask for a tax cut, or the politicians who believe that opening the border and allowing millions of unvetted people to come into America illegally, then giving them free housing, free food, free education and free healthcare while they rape and murder our citizens, makes our country stronger, or the politicians who believe that $35 trillion of debt, printing 1 trillion new dollars every year, and high inflation is sustainable, or the politicians who believe that defunding the police and no cash bail actually reduces crimes and makes our country safer, or the politicians who believe that an unrestrained homeless population with open air drug use and defection on the sidewalks improves the quality of living in our cities, or the politicians who actually believe that politicians and government improves the lives of the citizens. All those people are weird.
The weird part of all this weird talk is that it is the best way to find out who the unserious journalists are. The people in the who are now throwing around the term “weird” at Republicans and conservatives on a regular basis are the ones who carry the water for and take their cues from the powers-to-be in the Democrat party. Those are the journalists who should not be taken seriously anymore. They are tools of the Democrat party. What is weird is calling yourself a journalist when you know you really merely a propagandist for the Marxist left.
